# West Ham fans furious as Samuelsen completes move to Hull

Premier League club West Ham United[confirmed earlier today](https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2020/january/16-january/samuelsen-departs-west-ham-united-hull-city) that youngster Martin Samuelsen completed a permanent transfer to Championship side Hull City.

As stated on the[official club website](https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2020/january/16-january/samuelsen-departs-west-ham-united-hull-city), the 22-year-old made his senior debut for the Hammers in 2015.

He is very highly-rated, proven by the fact that [Bleacher Report](https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2661310-west-hams-dribble-king-martin-samuelsen-on-how-he-mastered-flair-play) labelled the Norwegian as a ‘dribble king’ in 2016.

These West Ham fans were not happy with the announcement…

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Judging by the responses, West Ham fans are pretty fond of Samuelsen and distraught to see him leave.

We feel that the 22-year-old should have been given a proper first-team chance before being offloaded on a permanent basis.

I think this could be a decision that could come back to haunt the Hammers, especially because the team is struggling in attack at the moment.
