West Ham are reportedly set to rival Newcastle and Lyon to sign Villarreal forward Karl Toko-Ekambi, according to Le10sport.
The Hammers are reportedly interested in a switch, according to the French outlet, with Villarreal set to demand over €25 million for the striker.

Lyon had submitted an offer of €14 million, according to Le10sport, but the offer was rejected by the Spanish side.
The report states that the Hammers know Villarreal’s demands, alongside Newcastle, and would be very keen on bringing the striker to the Premier League.

The forward has netted 6 times in 18 appearances for Villarreal this season, as per Transfermarkt, and also won the November Player of the Month award in La Liga.
West Ham are really lacking in depth up top, with only Sebastian Haller and Alban Ajeti being out and out strikers for the Hammers.
With Haller being regularly inconsistent up top for the Hammers, with only two goals since December, as per Transfermarkt, Ekambi may be seen as a quality option to bring in some more firepower, possessing great finishing and heading abilites, as per Whoscored.
