West Ham United attacker Michail Antonio has been ruled out of the Premier League encounter with Sheffield United, as confirmed on the official club website.
Manager David Moyes confirmed that Antonio is suffering from a hamstring problem and will not recover in time for Friday night’s clash.

As quoted on the website, he said:
Michail Antonio is still feeling his hamstring. He is not available for the game.
We were hoping to have him back but he’s not quite ready yet.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
Having Antonio for the match against the Blades would have been a big boost for the Hammers because of the incredible defensive record that Chris Wilder’s men boast.
Antonio’s injury issues are becoming more of a concern and could hurt the club in the long-term if he keeps picking up problems.
Moyes and West Ham have more than enough quality to get a positive result without Antonio but we hope the problem isn’t serious enough to keep him out for a lengthy period, especially because of the challenging run of fixtures coming up.
