# West Ham make ‘firm offer’ for Morgan Sanson

Morgan Sanson is [on the radars of Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers](https://wolves.vitalfootball.co.uk/report-transfer-blow-for-wolves-as-west-ham-edge-ahead-in-the-race-for-25-year-old/), but West Ham United are leading the chase.

The Marseille midfielder is a man in heavy demand and if recent reports are to be believed, West Ham have stepped up their interest.

According to [Le10 Sport](https://le10sport.com/football/mercato/exclu-mercato-om-west-ham-degaine-pour-sanson-487216?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter), the Hammers are the only club to submit a ‘firm offer’ for Sanson but it was swiftly turned down a few weeks ago.

Details of West Ham’s bid haven’t been revealed but the report claims the French club want in excess of £30million for the 25-year-old.

### READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT

Although Sanson is yet to earn his first France cap, he’s got plenty of experience under his belt, [making 127 appearances over three seasons at Marseille](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/morgan-sanson/profil/spieler/174094).

He’s still yet to hit his prime years and with [38 goal contributions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/morgan-sanson/profil/spieler/174094) at the Stade Velodrome, there’s proof he’d provide missed creativity from deep in midfield.

Declan Rice has featured in [every single Premier League game](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/declan-rice/profil/spieler/357662) this season and is crying out for support in the middle of the park.

We believe Sanson would be a good addition to David Moyes’ squad, however, there are no indications that West Ham will be happy to splash out the fee required to acquire the Frenchman anytime soon.
