West Ham’s five best and worst transfers of the decade

After ending the year 2019 on a bad note, West Ham United managed to start the new decade with a brilliant 4-0 victory against AFC Bournemouth in a game which started their new era under David Moyes.

But now it’s time to go back through the years and look at the Hammers’ best and worst signings of the previous decade.

Starting off with the 2009/10 season which started the ownership of the club by David Gold, David Sullivan and Karen Brady and ending on the earlier mentioned sacking of Manuel Pellegrini who has to be credited for a few transfers that could feature in today’s article.

In our previous “End of the Decade” slideshow, we’ve covered West Ham’s best starting XI which included a few unpopular names, and one of them will definitely be in this piece too.

But the final question remains, who were West Ham’s best and worst signings of the previous decade?
