West Ham offered Asmir Begovic on loan from Bournemouth

West Ham have reportedly been offered Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic on loan for the rest of the season.

According to Sky Sports, the Bosnian is reportedly unhappy whilst on loan at Azerbaijani side Qarabag, and wants to return to England to finish this season.

This follows the news that West Ham have had a bid rejected for former Hammers man Darren Randolph by Middlesbrough, with David Moyes keen to bring in a new backup after the failure of Roberto.

Roberto never really got going for West Ham, and the Hammers now are almost certain to hand someone else the job of backup goalkeeper.

Begovic has a lot of Premier League experience with the likes of Stoke City, Chelsea and Bournemouth, so could be a solid get for Moyes.

The Hammers could do with a new backup goalkeeper, especially with Roberto being a failure.

Lukasz Fabianski is close to a return, but the Hammers will be well aware that they cannot have a situation unfold like it has this season.

Therefore, Begovic would be a solid backup until the end of the season.
