West Ham defender Ryan Fredericks has praised the impact of David Moyes after West Ham secured a huge win against Bournemouth on New Years Day.
The Hammers won 4-0 against the Cherries at the London Stadium, with goals from Mark Noble, Sebastian Haller and Felipe Anderson securing a huge three points that lifted West Ham out of the bottom three.
Speaking after the game to West Ham TV, Fredericks revealed that David Moyes got his message across before the game, and was a big reason for the victory over the struggling Bournemouth.
Fredericks said, via the East London and West Essex Guardian:
It was a good day – it doesn’t get much better. I’m buzzing for everyone.
Obviously the gaffer’s not been here very long at all. He hasn’t had much time with us on the training field but what he has said to us has stuck in our minds. Everything’s been short and direct.
We haven’t been out on the training field for hours and hours and hours. With the experience he’s got, when he says something, it sticks – we’ve taken it on board and put it into practice. That’s happened so we’re buzzing.

Many may have criticised the appointment of Moyes, but his impact here has been sensational.
The Hammers were so much better than they were under Pellegrini, and showed that they can get back to their best.
Moyes may not be the long term option, but he has certainly managed to get West Ham firing again.
