AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie’s links to a January move are back and West Ham United continue to be in the middle of the frame.
According to Calciomercato, cited by Sport Witness, Kessie has been a disappointment at the San Siro this season.
Because of this, Milan are ready to say ‘goodbye’ and despite valuing him at €25million, will accept any offers they deem as acceptable.
The report claims that are a number of clubs remain interested in Kessie and West Ham are indeed one of them.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
The 23-year-old has made 15 Serie A appearance this term, so he’s no outcast and the fact Milan are ready to let him leave could speak volumes.
He’d certainly be an exciting addition to David Moyes squad in which, in all honesty, midfield numbers need to be increased.
Declan Rice’s development could improve by leaps and bounds if he has top quality midfield partners to play with, rather than watching Carlos Sanchez and Jack Wilshere crumble away on the sidelines.
It’s going to be an intriguing January transfer window to see just who Moyes brings to the club and which areas are addressed.
It’s a crucial stage to the campaign and could change the course of West Ham’s current fortunes.
