This weeks section of combined XI continues with Southampton.
The Saints, who once looked in danger under Ralph Hasenhuttl , have stuck by their manager and under a new formation have found new life and fantastic form.
Players like Danny Ings and James Ward-Prowse have earned England considerations under this new lease of life, and provide a real threat to West Ham, especially from set-pieces.
Both players and fans understand that Saturday is a must-win game for Pellegrini if he wants to save his job. It will be a fantastic show to see if the players really do play for the manager, or they too are fed up with stale tactics and no plan B.
Whatever the result may be on Saturday, fans will be hoping that this will finally kickstart a run of form for the Hammers, and one that bodes positivity and results.
Here is our combined XI between West Ham United and Southampton:
GK - Lukasz Fabianski
No question on this mans quality, or how much he is missed.
RB - Cedric Soares
A decent fullback and quietly consistent in my opinion.
CB - Jack Stephens
Another decent player in my opinion for the Saints. A solid centre back.
CB - Issa Diop
His quality is undeniable, even if he can’t get into the team for now.
LB - Ryan Bertrand
Been solid for a while now, and offers a decent balance going forwards and at the back.
CDM - Declan Rice
Might just have to fix this guy in here for every one. Fans who don’t rate him really do not watch him properly.
CM - James Ward-Prowse
Another man who really deserves to be in the England squad. A great all round game and fantastic on set pieces.
CM - Manuel Lanzini
On his day, magic. Perhaps not consistent, but offers something else in the park. Just edges Hojbjerg for me.
RW - Michail Antonio
I think Antonio offers much more than Redmond can. Bigger, quicker and stronger yet they both just lack that bit of finesse sometimes. Antonio takes it.
LW - Felipe Anderson
Completely off form yes, but still a quality player.
ST - Danny Ings
Perhaps controversial, but when fit, Ings scores goals. A worthy winner up top.
