Harry Redknapp could be the next West Ham manager
He’s possibly become more well-known as a TV celebrity than as a football manager in the last year or so, but Harry Redknapp could take over as the West Ham boss if the club’s board decides to sack Manuel Pellegrini.
That’s according to Football Insider, who report that the former I’m A Celebrity winner is on the club’s shortlist of potential replacements if they do decide to sack Pellegrini
Redknapp has been out of management since he was sacked by Birmingham City in 2017 and has since become one of the most popular TV celebrities following his win in the jungle.

It does look like Pellegrini is on thin-ice in terms of his job security, with the win at Chelsea looking more like an aberration than the norm. However, if he is sacked, it’s hard to see the board going for Redknapp unless it’s on a temporary basis whilst they look for a replacement.
Redknapp has been out of football management for over two years and we think the board will be looking elsewhere.
Having said that, there’s a famous saying “anything can happen in football’ so you should never completely dismiss anything these days.
