# Jenas fires Ancelotti warning amid West Ham interest

One of the hottest topics in football today is where former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti will end up following his Napoli exit on Tuesday night.

Arsenal seem to be in pole position and are thought to have already started negotiations, but there’s more Premier League interest in the form of West Ham United and managerless Everton.

Speaking on BT Sport, cited by [Football London](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/news/jenas-warning-arsenal-carlo-ancelotti-17399169https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/news/jenas-warning-arsenal-carlo-ancelotti-17399169https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/news/jenas-warning-arsenal-carlo-ancelotti-17399169), Jenas explained that West Ham will be interested but a manager of Ancelotti’s standard will be hotly pursued by plenty of suitors:

> As managers go, he would be one right at the top of the list for either Everton or West Ham. I think he has got a lot of suitors that would love him at the football club, he has always done a great job wherever he has been, Chelsea being one, and I think the Premier League will come calling.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

It’s funny how plenty of pundits and football writers like myself are speaking about Pellegrini as if he’s already been dismissed by West Ham.

But ultimately, that’s how it feels like. The Chilean is on borrowed time at the London Stadium and you’d be right in expecting there to be a new man in charge by Christmas.

You’ve got to agree with Jenas when he believes there’ll be plenty of interest in Ancelotti; of course there will be.

He’s undoubtedly one of the best managers around today, which makes it seem rather unlikely he’ll be drawn to a struggling club like West Ham.

There are plenty more quality options available for the Hammers to upgrade with though, and it’s only a matter of time.
