“It’s time to change the manager” – West Ham fans react to Spurs loss

Another game, another Premier League loss for Manuel Pellegrini, who looks to have lost the backing of the fans.

This team it came from the hands of Tottenham and their new manager, Jose Mourinho, which leaves an even more bitter taste in the Hammers’ fans mouths.

Although West Ham United nearly managed to spoil their fun having come back from a 0-3 result to a 2-3, while having a tough VAR call go against them which overturned Declan Rice’s goal.

And these fans certainly haven’t been happy with their team’s performance, and are screaming for Manuel Pellegrini to be sacked.

This might sound like a broken record, but again the performance wasn’t good enough.

The only positive might be the fact that the system change of going 4-2-3-1 with Mark Noble and Carlos Sanchez sitting deep instead of Noble roaming forwards worked brilliantly. But now it has to be properly implemented, and actually used for the majority of the games and not while in a desperate situation.

Pellegrini got too stuck on his preferred 4-1-4-1 and it became too vulnerable defensively while not offering any support to Haller.
