# Pellegrini has kept a keen eye on Diangana ahead of recall

Grady Diangana’s potential return to West Ham United seems to be looking more likely by the day if the latest update is anything to go by.

According to [Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/revealed-update-on-west-ham-recalling-diangana-from-west-brom-loan/), Manuel Pellegrini has requested ‘extensive’ reports of Diangana’s impressive impact on loan at West Bromwich Albion this season.

The report claims the West Ham manager is increasingly attracted by the possibility of recalling the 21-year-old winger in January.

Pellegrini is said to see Diangana as a ‘genuine option’ to bolster his side’s attacking firepower, which has been lacklustre in recent weeks.

He’s scored four goals and provided three assists in his first 12 appearances for Slaven Bilic’s Championship high-flyers.

### READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT

If the Hammers are actually planning on playing Diangana regularly, it’s an exciting prospect to bring him back into the first-team picture.

You can’t recall the starlet and let him waste away on the bench; it’d stifle his development and wouldn’t make sense at all.

Realistically, you wouldn’t expect Diangana to play week-in-week-out, or as much as he’s featuring at the Hawthorns.

It seems only a matter of time before his impending return is confirmed, but I personally think it’d be more beneficial for him to stay on loan.
