# Hammers fans ruing club’s decision to sign Wilshere

Following all the hype surrounding his 2018 arrival from Arsenal, Jack Wilshere’s reputation amongst many West Ham United fans appears to be at an all-time low at the moment.

The 27-year-old has played just 712 minutes for West Ham which, when you take his £100,000-a-week contract into account, means he’s earned almost £10,000-per-minute spent on the pitch.

With 18 months still remaining on his deal, he won’t be leaving on a free anytime soon and lots of supporters aren’t happy with how little he’s playing…

### READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT

Injuries and poor form have tarnished his stint at the London Stadium so far and although there’s still time to come good, all the signs point towards Wilshere’s time in East London going down as a flop.

After such a promising pre-season it was believed he’d be an important figure this term so hopefully, he can rediscover his best form and contribute to Manuel Pellegrini’s exciting squad.
