West Ham United’s winless run has now reached the stage where some supporters are calling for Manuel Pellegrini’s head, it would seem.
The Hammers were held to a 1-1 draw against Sheffield United at the weekend, stretching the poor run of results to five games in all competitions.
Pellegrini’s side currently sit in ninth, a couple of places below the Europa League spot(s), but that isn’t enough for these supporters who weren’t happy with the performance…

READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
After such a promising start to the campaign, going five games without a win is a huge shame for West Ham and results will have to come soon if they aren’t to slip down the table further.
Despite this, I find the calls for Pellegrini to be sacked completely ridiculous on the back of poor form.
Yes, recent results haven’t been good enough but he’s as good as the club will be able to acquire at the moment.
European qualification is still very much on – the squad to do it is there – but results and performances are required to keep the restless fans at bay.
