Talk is growing amongst West Ham United fans about who the club should sign to bolster the current midfield options, and a familiar name has interestingly popped up.
Joao Mario joined West Ham on loan from Inter Milan in January 2017 and didn’t have a bad stint at the club, making 14 competitive appearances and being regularly praised for his consistent work rate.
Currently on loan at Lokomotiv Moscow, Joao Mario could be permanently leaving the San Siro soon and these Hammers fans think the club should go back in for him…

READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
The 26-year-old could be a fantastic option to bring in as an advanced midfielder either alongside or ahead of Manuel Lanzini.
His pace and creativity would certainly improve Manuel Pellegrini’s side, but suggestions that he’s better than Lanzini simply because of a purple patch in form shows just how fickle some fans can be.
There’s no denying he’d be a solid acquisition though, and he seemed to enjoy life in England too.
