West Ham United’s winless run stretched to four matches in all competitions against Everton on Saturday and Felipe Anderson is one of the players feeling the brunt of fans’ frustrations.
After a promising start to the campaign, the Hammers’ lack of attacking creativity is now regularly punishing them as they slipped down to 10th in the Premier League following defeat at Goodison Park.
Anderson has made just three-goal contributions so far this season – all assists – after such an exciting debut campaign in England in which he scored 10 and provided five assists in the league.
Plenty of West Ham fans are getting on his back to start living up to expectation and produce more for the team, with some even labelling him overrated…

READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
Scoring just nine goals in 11 league games is a clear sign of West Ham’s struggles going forward and the big players like Anderson, Sebastien Haller and Andriy Yarmolenko need to step up and make an impact.
There’s now added pressure on Manuel Pellegrini’s men to beat Sheffield United at the weekend and get back on track, otherwise the season could start to unravel and the club’s aim of European qualification will quickly start fading.
Supporters’ criticism of Anderson is probably justified though; he needs to start showing serious signs of improvement.
