West Ham react to Roberto’s performance against Everton

Roberto was certainly in the spotlight during West Ham’s 2-0 defeat to Everton on Saturday.

The Spaniard has been handed the starting job in goal thanks to Lukasz Fabianski’s injury that will keep him out until the new year.

The keeper was firstly at fault for Everton’s opener, with Bernard being able to get it past him, before he followed up with some impressive saves to keep West Ham in the game.

However, it would end up being a defeat for West Ham, with several key players not performing for the Irons.

Several hammers fans took to Twitter to voice their opinions about Roberto’s performance.

Read West Ham’s verdict

West Ham’s dismal run of form continues, and today’s defeat showed a lot of faults in the system.

It also showed how much West Ham will miss Lukasz Fabianski.

Roberto made some good saves, but his howler for the first goal was still one of the key reasons for the loss.
