He’s been one of the league’s most reliable performers in recent seasons, providing many goals and assists from right-back.

Marco Silva’s side are enduring a torrid run of form and currently sit in 18th place with seven points from eight matches.

Does Coleman’s absence hand West Ham an advantage?

READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Absolutely. His absence hands the Hammers an advantage because the Toffees will be slightly weaker on the right side of their back four, giving Felipe Anderson added incentive to fly up the wing.

There’s a lot of pressure on Silva’s men at the moment and without their captain, they’re likely to be even more jittery at the back.

West Ham have made a very bright start to the campaign and will be looking to repeat their performance at Goodison Park last season, where they emerged as 3-1 victors.
