# West Ham yet to receive Rice enquiries – what should his valuation be?

Declan Rice seems to always be a hot topic when discussing West Ham United and speculation has arisen regarding his future again.

The 20-year-old’s regular appearances for both club and country have seen him linked to the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United in the last 12 months.

However, according to [reports](https://www.claretandhugh.info/fans-react-to-irons-no-rice-inquiries-statement/), West Ham have received no approaches for Rice during the international break where he played a part in England’s EURO 2020 qualifying campaign.

The report adds that the club haven’t worried about placing a valuation on his head because there’s no intent to sell him after he signed a six-year deal.

### Read West Ham’s verdict

Rice is a 20-year-old English prospect who is starting week-in-week-out for an exciting Premier League team, so transfer speculation is always going to be rife.

It’s not surprising that West Ham haven’t bothered about stating his valuation, considering he has just put pen to paper on a new long-term contract.

If he continues his form under Manuel Pellegrini, you could potentially see him completing a big-money move away from the London Stadium in the future…

Albeit, he’s very settled in East London at the moment and you’d expect that to be the case for the foreseeable future.
