# Hammers fans react as club reveals £45 E-Sports shirt

West Ham United have released a new £45 E-Sports home shirt and judging by how many supporters are unhappy about it, the stock may not be flying off the shelves quickly.

Criticism has been of a range of subjects about the shirt, most noticeably how big the Umbro logo is and the general idea of creating an E-Sports shirt.

Plenty of supporters took to social media after the news broke to publicise their displeasure at the concept…

### Read West Ham’s verdict

The E-Sports shirt is cheaper than the £55 you’ll have to dish out to secure the standard home shirt, but it’s still a steep price considering the target market for something like that must be the younger generation.

It’s a nice shirt though, you can’t deny that, and with the rising popularity of E-Sports, it’s understandable why West Ham are aiming to generate more income through it.

The fanbase is rather split on the idea though – that’s quite clear.
