With the likes of Issa Diop and Angelo Ogbonna in such good form, Fabian Balbuena providing back-up and plenty of youth options amongst the ranks, what are the chances of Reid making another West Ham appearance?

Every setback plunges his future at the club into further doubt, so it could be a good time for Manuel Pellegrini to sanction his sale.

Reid has been a fantastic servant for the Hammers since joining from Midtjylland for £4million in 2010, making over 200 appearances, but it could be the perfect time to get him off the wage book.
