Plenty of West Ham United fans aren’t happy with Ryan Fredericks’ comments after Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.
Following the disappointing result at the London Stadium, the right-back came out and said, cited by @WestHam:
We’re a massive club, with a massive fan base and a massive stadium. We need to kick on now, we’ve got the manager and the players to do it.
Many supporters have taken his approach in a bad way though, criticising Fredericks for his use of the term ‘massive club’…

Fredericks is obviously trying to settle the reaction to what was a very disappointing loss, but you can understand why fans are bored of players coming out and trying to justify poor displays.
The Hammers simply weren’t good enough against Palace and will need to improve if they are to bounce back at Everton.
Fredericks is firmly first-choice at right-back and will be looking to do the talking on the pitch after the international break, rather than off it.
