# Hammers fans can’t agree on Anderson’s Palace performance

Felipe Anderson has received some backlash on the back of West Ham United’s 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at the London Stadium.

Anderson completed three dribbles, won five tackles and took two shots on goal as West Ham fumbled a 1-0 lead to their London rivals.

Popular fan account @WestHam\_Central took to Twitter to reveal what he thought of the Brazilian’s display…

> Twitter: Drop Anderson next game ![?‍♂️](https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/12.0.0-1/svg/1f937-200d-2642-fe0f.svg) (@WestHam\_Central)

But a stampede of West Ham fans were quick to disagree with that specific take, with some even labelling Anderson as one of the team’s better performers…

> Twitter: @WestHam\_Central He was our best player by a mile dunno what match you were watching (@Adamsoitis)

> Twitter: @WestHam\_Central One of our best today. (@ViasportTore)

> Twitter: @WestHam\_Central He was instrumental in the build up to our goal though (@lee\_sifford)

> Twitter: @lee\_sifford @WestHam\_Central And he was huge for our defense, Zaha couldn’t even get in the game. (@thatboied)

Even a Palace fan or two weighed in on the conversation…

> Twitter: @WestHam\_Central thought he was one of your best players lol (@chinsonx)

### Read West Ham’s verdict

Even by just watching the game I could see that Anderson looked like one of the Hammers most influential players, and the stats clearly back that up.

It does seem like the general consensus amongst West Ham supporters is that the 26-year-old deserves to keep his place following the international break.

However, even Anderson himself will want to see an increase in goal contributions to match his good performances.
