Lukasz Fabianski’s recent hip injury has sparked plenty of conversation amongst West Ham United supporters over the past week.
The Pole was forced off in last weekend’s 2-2 draw at AFC Bournemouth and is set for at least two months on the sidelines.
His misfortunes mean 33-year-old deputy Roberto will be called upon for a run of games in the Premier League, but many supporters have someone else in mind to take the reins…

Read West Ham’s verdict
Michel Vorm was released by Tottenham Hotspur in the summer and is yet to find a new club, so if Roberto’s form doesn’t improve he could be a serious short-term option.
The 35-year-old wouldn’t demand a high wage package and has substantially more experience in English football than Roberto does.
It would certainly make sense to move for him, but I believe too many supporters are discounting the Spaniard after one bad performance.
Manuel Pellegrini signed Roberto for a reason, so give him a chance.
