With the influx of attackers arriving this summer and the uprising of Andriy Yarmolenko, Robert Snodgrass has had to settle for a background role at West Ham United this season.
The 32-year-old has made just one Premier League start so far in 2019-20, which makes it clear that Manuel Pellegrini has his favoured front four in mind and Snodgrass isn’t part of it.
According to reports, West Ham are open to selling Snodgrass in January but Pellegrini could opt to keep him in his squad for the remainder of the campaign.
He’s currently behind the in-form Yarmolenko in the right-wing pecking order, and when Michail Antonio returns from injury he’ll likely be pushed down even further.

With the amount, or lack of game time the Scotland international has received so far this term you wouldn’t blame him for looking to the exit door in January.
However, I think Pellegrini would be right to keep him around until at least next summer.
The Hammers have already lost Lukasz Fabianski for a lengthy spell through injury, and back-up will be required if there are similar problems further up the pitch.
He’s a great character on and off the pitch and certainly still has a role to play at the club, but if he’s craving regular football, a move away would probably make sense on an individual level.
For the good of the club? I’m not so sure.
