Aaron Cresswell wasn’t even wanted in the squad by most West Ham supporters less than a month ago, but now he’s a fan favourite once again.
His recent eye-catching performances have been topped off with cracking goals – two in two to be precise – and he looks to be firmly cementing his status as Manuel Pellegrini’s first-choice option once again.
These West Ham fans are delighted with Cresswell’s recent contribution, with some believing he’s back to his sparkling best…

Read West Ham’s verdict
With the current talent at Gareth Southgate’s disposal, calls for a place in the England squad may be a little far-fetched but as long as he’s performing for the Hammers it really doesn’t matter.
Cresswell’s upturn in form is a key reason why Pellegrini’s men are where they are in the league table, and who knows where they can go if every player keeps this form up.
West Ham did well to come out of a very tricky test at AFC Bournemouth with a draw and will be vying to continue their unbeaten league run against Crystal Palace this weekend.
