Lukasz Fabianski’s unfortunate injury was the outstanding negative in Saturday’s 2-2 draw against AFC Bournemouth and new updates don’t sound promising.
According to Football Insider, West Ham United expect the Poland international to miss this weekend’s clash with Crystal Palace and fear he’ll spend up to a month on the sidelines.
The report claims West Ham will receive the reports of a scan today after Fabianski was forced off in the first half with what Manuel Pellegrini later revealed to be a hip injury.
If the 34-year-old is to be out of action for around a month, he’ll be absent for Premier League games against Everton, Sheffield United and Newcastle United as well as Palace and the upcoming international break.

Last season’s Hammer of the Year recipient is going to be a monumental absentee if he is to be sidelined because of just how important he’s been in recent times.
His back-up, Roberto, didn’t fill many with much confidence in last week’s 4-0 thumping at Oxford United and it’s certainly quite a substantial downgrade.
Fabianski is now north of 30 and these things are bound to happen, but West Ham enjoying such a good Premier League run at the moment though, and Roberto will have to massively step up his game.
