Many West Ham United fans are having an absolute field day on social media following Tottenham Hotspur’s humiliating Carabao Cup Third Round exit to Colchester United last night.
The League Two club held Mauricio Pochettino’s Champions League finalists to a 0-0 draw in normal time, before Christian Eriksen and Lucas Moura missed their penalties as they succumbed to a 4-3 defeat in the shoot-out.
As expected, there’s been mass jubilation on West Ham Twitter to round off what could be a momentous four days for the club…

It’s all well and good teasing Tottenham for their embarrassing, but the Hammers must remain focused as they travel to Oxford United tonight.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side will be vying for a place in the Carabao Cup Fourth Round and are expected to field a strong line-up to prevent another giant-killing.
Spurs knocked West Ham out of the competition last season, of course, so the chance to outlast them this time around should serve as great motivation to get a result at the Kassam Stadium.
