Hammers fans aren’t happy with Lanzini’s potential return date

You can’t blame West Ham United fans for disliking the Argentina national team considering Manuel Lanzini seems to get injured every time he goes over to South America.

The 26-year-old played through a pain barrier against Aston Villa but couldn’t make it against Manchester United and now could be facing a month on the sidelines.

Speculation has risen that Lanzini will miss at least three weeks, meaning he’ll be absent for the games against AFC Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.

Despite only looking likely to miss two games, plenty of West Ham fans have taken to social media to publicise their unhappiness with his injury…

He could next feature on October 19 when the Hammers travel to Goodison Park to face Everton, that’s presuming he won’t be on international duty this time around.

There’s no doubting Lanzini is a crucial part of Manuel Pellegrini’s plans at the London Stadium and the sooner he’s back to full fitness, the better.

West Ham will be confident in continuing their run of form at the Vitality Stadium this weekend though, after last weekend’s impressive showing against Man United.
