Plenty of West Ham United fans have been left baffled after Javier Hernandez opened his Sevilla account with a stunning free-kick on Thursday night.
The Mexico international opened the scoring at Qarabag on the hour mark, sending Sevilla on their way to a 3-0 triumph on the opening night of the Europa League.
These Hammers supporters have been left stunned by his free-kick though after Hernandez has literally built a career on being a poacher and scoring from close-range…

Read West Ham’s verdict
It’s nice to see Chicharito kicking off his Sevilla career in style with such a classy goal and I have no doubt that he’ll be a hit over in Spain.
West Ham were right to let him go though; with Sebastien Haller and Albian Ajeti providing striker options he simply wouldn’t be getting enough game time to justify his hefty wage.
Haller, in particular, has also made a great start to life at the London Stadium and what better way to make his mark further than by scoring against Manchester United on Sunday.
