# Fans think Rice wants Villa move after interesting picture on social media

Declan Rice certainly caught the eye with his performance against Aston Villa on Monday night, but his off-field actions have got people talking too.

The 20-year-old controlled the midfield for West Ham United at Villa Park in what was a game lacking in attacking quality and subsequently ending in a 0-0 draw.

An image of Rice talking with backroom staff and players has emerged on social media this week though, and plenty of fans are having their say.

These Villa fans are seemingly in awe of Rice, who has previously admitted he once pushed for a loan move to the club until Manuel Pellegrini made him aware of his plans…

> Twitter: @OliverAVFC\_\_ I’d thought he’d talk to mings beacuse of England pretty obvious he wants to come (@lordnakamba)

Some West Ham fans made sure they had their say on the matter though…

### Read West Ham’s verdict

It’s obvious Villa fans are using the image to get one up over those of West Ham after failing to be separated in the match.

Rice’s once-likely move to the Midlands now seems as much of a long shot with the Hammers’ aspirations much higher than Villa’s.

If anything, the no. 41’s next move will be to a ‘big six’ team but many Hammers fans will be keen to see him commit his long-term future to the club.
