Dan Kemp has been nominated alongside Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun, Chelsea’s Billy Gilmour, Manchester United’s James Garner and others for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for August.
The versatile attacking midfielder contributed to at least one goal in three of West Ham United U23s’ opening four games of the new campaign, and his efforts have been recognised.

Although many fans don’t seem to be considering Kemp as a worthy recipient, it’s great to see him impressing so much at his age level.
This season could really be his time to break into the first-team set-up under Manuel Pellegrini and he has every chance to if he continues the current form he’s showing.
