# Injuries seem to be on many West Ham fans’ minds during the international break

Plenty of West Ham United fans aren’t interesting in watching the club’s players representing their nations during the international break but are instead praying to come out of it with no injury problems.

It’s always a stressful time for football fans, especially if your team is in good form, and the Hammers have been in very promising form as of late.

There are a total of seven first-team stars out on international duty, with more Under-23 and Under-18 talent playing at different age levels.

As West Ham asked supporters on social media which stars they’ll be following over the next week, the main response was rather clear…

(@NickMotown): @WestHam The physio, for updates.

(@StuCarless): @WestHam No injuries ![??](https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/12.0.0-1/svg/1f64f-1f3fb.svg)

@MaunderShelby: @WestHam PLEASE DON’T GET ALL INJURED

@WestHamDriver: @WestHam All of them. Please come back injury free

@MattR0850N: @WestHam You should follow them all closely with crash mats and bubble wrap in hand

You can’t blame Hammers fans for disliking the international break – some of the injuries on international duty in recent years will have left scars in the memory.

With Antonio now ruled out for a number of months, the stress has heightened for everyone to return to East London in full fitness.

Anything can happen though, it’s out of the club’s hands, so supporters will have to keep their fingers crossed for the next week.
