Some West Ham United fans are getting giddy on social media after Manchester United duo Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Paul Pogba withdrew from international duty.
Both players have gone home from their respective camps, which has given plenty of supporters hope that they’ll miss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side’s visit to the London Stadium in just over two weeks’ time.
The Hammers were victorious in the same fixture last season, winning 3-1, and have made a better start to the season than their upcoming opponents.
Many have reacted to the news, and seem as confident as ever before of getting a result against the Red Devils.

read west ham’s verdict
Even without Wan-Bissaka and Pogba, United will provide a tough test despite their recent lacklustre form and West Ham will have to be near their best to get a result.
Confidence will be rightly flowing amongst players and fans following last season’s victory in this fixture though, so the Hammers can threaten the visitors even with Wan-Bissaka and Pogba to deal with.
If West Ham can defeat Aston Villa following the international break and then get something from Solskjaer’s side, the strong start to the season will very much continue.
