Plenty of West Ham United fans are in awe of Arthur Masuaku following his stunning performance against Norwich City at the weekend, but a surreal statistic has confirmed just how good he was.
The Hammers beat Norwich 2-0 at the London Stadium as Masuaku provided the assist for the opener and looked unbeatable in defence against the dangerous newly-promoted side.
West Ham revealed on Tuesday though that, statistically, he was the best left-back in Europe’s top five leagues over the weekend and these fans are hailing his success…

read west ham’s verdict
Masuaku’s performance was as eye-catching as they come and if he continues to show that kind of level, West Ham could be in with a shout of a very good season.
Manuel Pellegrini’s attack has enough quality to provide plenty of goals, it’s the defence that will let the team down over anything else and Masuaku certainly improves it.
Let’s hope he can carry on lighting up the left flank with Felipe Anderson so he can get the recognition he deserves.
Our left-back indeed.
