# Wilshere criticises Cresswell online – and Hammers fans are loving it

Aaron Cresswell’s West Ham United career has suffered a turbulent downfall in recent history, so much so that even his team-mates are now publicly shaming him.

In what could easily be a tale of team-mate banter, Jack Wilshere has been spotted openly criticising the under-fire left-back on Instagram.

Unsurprisingly, plenty of fans have loved Wilshere’s dig at Cresswell, whether it’s a joke or not…

### READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT

Cresswell may be the club vice-captain, but his drop in quality of late has made him hugely unpopular amongst many supporters.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini seemed to lose faith in him following the opening day defeat to Manchester City too after four of their five goals came from his side.

Although it’s likely to be a bit of light-hearted banter over fan criticism, Wilshere has never been one to mince his words and it’s a remarkable story if serious.

Arthur Masuaku should start at left-back again against Norwich later today, but whether Wilshere will make the starting line-up remains to be seen.
