# Hammers fans react as club provides huge team selection hint

West Ham United supporters will be full of confidence going into the weekend following recent results, and the club will have boosted optimism further on Friday.

A picture of captain Mark Noble in training with a rather suggestive captain all-but confirms he’ll keep his place in the team as Norwich City visit the London Stadium later today.

> Twitter: Who’s ready to see this guy bossing our midfield again tomorrow?! ![?‍♂️](https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/12.0.0-1/svg/1f64b-200d-2642-fe0f.svg) https://t.co/RC04X5uKDo (@WestHam)

Plenty have taken well to the suggestion, despite Jack Wilshere’s impressive showing at Newport County in midweek…

### READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT

It’s the right call to start Noble again; his contribution in last weekend’s 3-1 triumph at Watford was game-changing and it’d be criminal to switch things up.

Wilshere was impressive at Newport, but it’s League Two opposition and he failed to convince in the opening two Premier League fixtures he was given a chance in.

Noble’s experience and leadership qualities on and off the pitch, without a doubt, make West Ham a far better side and it’d be surprising to see him miss out, even without the club’s social media activity.
