Plenty of West Ham United fans are devastated that exciting Under-23 starlet Nathan Holland isn’t going to get a chance to shine at Newport County tonight.
That’s if speculation is to be believed anyway…
The electric winger doesn’t appear to have travelled with the squad to Rodney Parade for West Ham’s Carabao Cup second-round clash.
Many were hoping he’d feature, as he did when he made his only first-team appearance against Macclesfield Town in the same competition last year, but have been left disappointed:

READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
Holland’s stunning equaliser against Brentford B last week highlighted his quality and potential, and I think it’d be the correct call to either start involving him amongst the first team or to send him out on loan.
A fixture against League Two opposition would appear to be the perfect time to involve him, so maybe Manuel Pellegrini has a loan move planned for him.
Hopefully, we see a strong team fielded out in a competition the club should really be focusing on, but with a hint of youth too.
