West Bromwich Albion have announced the signing of Grady Diangana on a season-long loan, but some West Ham United fans are unhappy and confused as to why the promising winger’s been let go.

The 21-year-old joins Slaven Bilic’s side on their quest for Premier League promotion this season but faces stiff competition for places after the Baggies’ impressive opening weekend win at Nottingham Forest.

Diangana is a top talent and, after appearing 17 times in the Premier League last season, seriously could have played a part under Manuel Pellegrini this time around.
The general consensus in the replies to West Ham’s announcement is frustration that he’s dropped down to the Championship, even if it means Diangana receives more game time.
