# West Ham fans react as Fabianski is passed fit for league opener

Lukasz Fabianski has confirmed he is fit and ready to go ahead of West Ham United’s Premier League opener against champions Manchester City this weekend, and fans are rightly jubilating.

There were strong doubts regarding his availability earlier on in the week following a knock during pre-season, but he’ll be starting the league campaign in between the sticks.

The 34-year-old was one of West Ham’s best players last season and would’ve been a huge miss if he was absent, but his presence is bound to be felt against the best side English football has to offer.

Supporters would have certainly supported new man Roberto fully if he was forced to make his debut earlier than expected on Saturday, but it’s fair to say the vast majority of the fan base are delighted with the news.

Let’s hope he can pull off another memorable performance so the Hammers can start the season with a bang.
