# West Ham fans call for club to replace Sanchez with Wanyama

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to offload Victor Wanyama as part of a summer rebuild, and West Ham United supporters are adamant the club should move Carlos Sanchez on to make space in the squad.

According to [Sky Sports News](https://www.skysports.com/transfer-centre), Spurs have been looking – but are struggling – to find Wanyama a new club by the end of the day, with main suitors AFC Bournemouth, Brighton & Hove Albion and Burnley unlikely to make a move.

Sanchez, 33, is expected to act as back-up in the holding midfield role this season but Hammers fans are insisting the club should do all they can to send him on his way to accommodate the Kenyan star.

### Read West Ham’s verdict

As brutal as it is, some are going as far as saying that West Ham should just release Sanchez if the club don’t want to breach their 25-man squad limit.

Some were less straightforward…

And some suggestions were more interesting!

With just under two hours left of the window, it’s unlikely there will be much more movement, if any, from the Hammers.
