West Ham United will be looking to press ahead next season and fight for a Europa League spot.
Wolves will be competing in the Europa League this year after they finished 7th in the Premier League and West Ham should now be aiming to challenge for that spot outside the top six.
Manuel Pellegrini enjoyed an impressive first season in charge of the Hammers, leading them to 10th place in the table. They finished just five points behind Wolves, which suggests that they are not far off from being able to compete at that level.
West Ham have already made one statement of intent signing this summer in the form of Pablo Fornals from Villarreal. Although the fee was undisclosed, the club did confirm that it is the second highest ever paid in the club’s history.
