# Valencia in talks with Celta Vigo over Maxi Gomez move

Valencia are reportedly in talks with Celta Vigo over a move for West Ham target Maxi Gomez.

The Hammers have long been linked with a move for the striker, who scored 13 goals in 35 league appearances for the La Liga side last season to help Celta avoid relegation.

And [according to Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/serious-developments-spain-maxi-gomez-west-ham-need-act-quickly/), Spanish news outlet Faro de Vigo suggest Valencia are now in discussions with Vigo over a move for Gomez, and are willing to offer €15million plus three players for the striker.

The Spanish outfit have reportedly agreed to include Santi Mina, Kangan Lee and Jorge Saenz de Miera in a deal for Gomez.

Talks between the two sides were said to have broken down last month, giving the Hammers hope of concluding a deal with little competition.

However, the report suggests Valencia have reignited their interest in Gomez and talks over a move are said to be progressing well.
