# Four players West Ham could look at during the Copa America

After an 11th-place Premier League finish in Manuel Pellegrini’s first season in charge, West Ham United are looking to build on that in the 2019-20 campaign and expect a busy summer of transfer dealings.

The Hammers have already confirmed the signings of highly-rated Villareal midfielder Pablo Fornals for £25million and Espanyol goalkeeper Roberto on a free transfer, but there are plenty other areas that need strengthening.

Supporters have called on the club to focus on improving the full-back, central midfield, winger and striker positions this summer, and the 2019 Copa America in Brazil could present the perfect chance to eye up new talent.

There are plenty of exciting players representing their countries this summer at the major tournament, and players who, no doubt, would improve Pellegrini’s side as they aim for European qualification.

In this slideshow, we take a look at four stars of this year’s Copa America who would be good fits for West Ham.
