# West Ham preparing £30m offer for Fornals

West Ham are preparing to make a £30m offer for Villarreal star Pablo Fornals this week.

[According to Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-west-ham-to-submit-30m-bid-as-husillos-works-to-seal-deal-today/), West Ham are willing to up their bid for Fornals to £30m as they look to bring the Spanish midfielder to the Premier League next season.

The report claims that West Ham have been in advanced talks with Villarreal over a deal to sign Fornals this week and they hope to agree a deal on Wednesday.

West Ham are said to have already offered £20m for the midfielder, which Villarreal deemed unacceptable – with the Hammers now upping their bid.

Manuel Pellegrini worked with Fornals during his time at Malaga and could now be on course for a reunion with the Spaniard this summer if West Ham are able to iron out a deal.

The 23-year-old has scored nine times in 96 appearances for Villarreal since joining the club from Malaga in 2017.
