West Ham have been [heavily linked](https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/05/12/report-west-ham-begin-20m-dani-ceballos-talks-with-real-madrid/) with a move for Ceballos as Manuel Pellegrini looks to improve his squad this summer, but Spurs are now looking to steal a march on the Hammers and strike a deal for the Spaniard.

The report claims that Ceballos has decided to leave Real Madrid, as manager Zinadine Zidane does not trust him.

AS claim that Real Madrid want to insert a buy-back clause into any deal, in case they decide in the future that they want Ceballos back at the club.
