# Juan Cuadrado not interested in West Ham move

West Ham have been handed a summer transfer blow after target Juan Cuadrado admitted he has no plans of leaving the club.

The Juventus winger, who previously turned out in the Premier League for Chelsea, was attracting interest from the Hammers, as well as Watford over a possible summer switch.

Since arriving at the club back in 2017, the Colombia international has been a regular for *The Old Lady*, however, Cuadrado has found game time hard to come by this year under Massimiliano Allegri, turning out 19 times in all competitions.

Despite the lack of game time, Cuadrado, talking to Sky Italy, cited by [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11708024/juan-cuadrado-wants-juventus-stay-and-has-no-interest-in-watford-or-west-ham-move), admitted he hasn’t thought about leaving the club this summer, revealing he is very happy.

> I’m very happy with the club, the city and the people. My family is happy here, I still have one year until my contract runs out but it doesn’t only depend on me.

> I always try and do my best and I would be very happy to stay here.

The same report suggests that even if Cuadrado was to leave Turin, it would be for one of Europe’s top sides, so Manuel Pellegrini may have to turn his attentions elsewhere for an attacking summer arrival.
