West Ham fell to a defeat at Old Trafford this afternoon, with two penalties giving the win to Manchester United.
Paul Pogba was there to score two goals to hand the Red Devils the win, with Felipe Anderson getting the goal for West Ham.
The Hammers did fight well however, and were unlucky not to get a result in the North West.
Here’s how we rated the Irons after the final whistle.
Lukasz Fabianski - 7
Not much to do, but Pogba got the better of him twice.
Pablo Zabaleta - 7
Did very well and nullified the United attack down the wings.
Fabian Balbuena - 8
Superb. Martial unable to get anything playing against the defender.
Pablo Ogbonna - 7
Did very well despite not having much to do first half.
Arthur Masuaku - 8
Considering he was on the losing side, it was a fantastic performance from the defender.
Declan Rice - 9
Dominant. Back to his old self after a poor showing against Chelsea.
Felipe Anderson - 9
Had a goal wrongly chalked off, but put it arguably one of his best ever West Ham performances.
Mark Noble - 6
Should’ve done better first half, but showed some good leadership.
Robert Snodgrass - 6
Poor when giving away the penalty, but caused problems for the United defence.
Manuel Lanzini - 6
Forced off the pitch, but was a threat for West Ham today.
Javier Hernandez - 6
Did well but no real big chances.
Grady Diangana – 5
Michail Antonio – 5
