Lyon are showing an interest in signing West Ham midfielder Edimilson Fernades in the summer transfer window.

[According to Le10 Sport, via Football Italia,](https://www.football-italia.net/136564/lyon-looking-edimilson) Lyon are keeping tabs on his situation as they weigh up a swoop for the midfielder.

Fernandes is currently out on a season-long loan to Italian side Fiorentina, but the report claims that the club are not looking to sign him on a permanent basis.

Fiorentina have the option to sign him for €8m in the summer, but have decided that they have not seen enough in his performances to warrant them keeping him.

He has played 27 games for Fiorentina in all competitions, scoring twice, and has been sent off once.

The Swiss international joined West Ham in 2016 and made 48 appearances in his first two seasons at the club, before they decided that he was not needed in the first-team and he was shipped out to Fiorentina.
